• Congratulations to the Boys and Girls Outdoor Track Teams: they brought home the Regional Championship Trophy on Wednesday, the 24^th ~ On the Boys Team: Cam Dixon, Jacob Uchida, Davin Tietz and Lance Koontz are the Region Champs in the 4x400 team relay; Lance Koontz is the Region Champion in the 400 meter; Nick Smerlis is the Region Champion in the mile; Davin Tietz is the Region Champion in the 800 meter; in the 4x800 relay Davin Tietz, Michael Baptist, Justin Zetterwall and Nick Smerlis are Region Champs-they will be heading to States next weekend to defend their state title in Indoor Track. On the Girls Team: Lauren Pegher and Corinne Lombardo went 1^st & 2^nd in the 800 meter AND mile to be the Region Champion and Region Runner-Up; in the 4x800 relay Aubrey Case, Isabella Ornelas, Corinne Lombardo and Lauren Pegher are Region Champs-They are off to States at Liberty University next weekend
• Congratulations to the Girls Softball Team: they won Round 1 of the Regionals on Wednesday, the 24th.  They dominated Lafayette with a finishing score of 10-0. Their next game is Friday, May 26^th at YHS
• Congratulations to our Boys and Girls Tennis Teams: they had a tremendous showing on Wednesday, the 24^th.  6 of our 8 athletes advanced to the semifinal and finals on Friday, the 26^th ~ For the Boys Team: Nic Crespo and Matthew Wornom are in the semifinals for singles and doubles; For the Girls: Val Crespo and Malini Dharmi are in the semifinals for singles and doubles; Alexis Golart and Beth Merfake are in the semifinals for doubles
