Mustang News, Jan.5

Good morning Mustang family!

We were delighted to see our students this week! They returned rested and excited for the New Year ahead of us. We will have many opportunities to connect with our families through fun, family-oriented events in January and February. We look forward to seeing you at these events!

Please review information regarding these events:

PTA Meeting

Our PTA invites ALL members of our school community to our monthly meeting on Tuesday, January 8, at 6:30pm. No commitment is required!

Family Fitness Night

We invite all families to join us for our annual Family Fitness Night on January 15th. We will have fun fitness classes courtesy of several local gyms, a variety of games, nutritional information, and wellness checks.

MVES Alumni

Did you attend MVES as a child? We are interested in talking with you! Our fourth grade students are looking to interview former MVES students. If you can spare some time to answer a few questions, we would be most grateful. Please email me at and place the phrase “Alumni” in the subject line.

Happy Birthday to Us!

MVES is celebrating 40 years and you are invited to our birthday party! Our weeklong celebration will begin with our Family Dance on Friday, February 1st. Our Student Council and PTA invite you to our Decades-themed event. You may dress casually or in apparel from the 70’s, 80’s, 90’s, or today, so break out those bell bottoms, crimpers, and flannel!

Our celebration will continue with a Spirit Week from 2/4 – 2/8. More details will follow.

Finally, all are welcome to attend our celebration on February 5, at 6:30pm. Our fourth grade students will lead our evening of reflection, but all members of our school community are welcome to attend this special event!
