Mustang News, Nov.29, 2018

Good afternoon Mustang family!

We have an exciting weekend ahead of us. Please join us at the Yorktown Tree Lighting tomorrow night as our 4th and 5th Grade Mustang Chorus performs holiday favorites.

On Saturday morning, our running club will participate in their first local running event: The Run with the Son for Haiti. Grab a sign and cheer them on if you can! Good luck to our runners!

Our Barnes and Noble Book Fair also takes place this weekend. Shop the store on Jefferson Avenue or use the online book fair ID: 12388955. Events kick off with story time at 11:00 followed by a choral performance and a second story time with Olivia the Pig led by MVES staff. After the stories, stop by the café for our signature drink and cupcake decorating.
Finally, our First Lego League travels to James Madison University this weekend to participate in their State Competition. We are proud of their hard work and know that they will represent us well!

Mr. Miller and I look forward to seeing you at one (or more) of these events this weekend!
