3rd Quarter Begins

As a friendly reminder local law enforcement will be significantly increasing the monitoring of “No Parking/Bus Zone” locations at area schools starting January 1, 2019. This includes writing tickets for anyone parking along the curb of the school, blocking driveways, driving through the “Buses Only” zone, and parking in “No Parking” areas of the parking lot. This will be in effect from approximately 6:45 am to 5:00 pm Monday – Friday.

They have emphasized that this also involves families parking along the curb in front of the school to drop off or pick up students going to the Champions program before and after school. Staff, families, and visitors are being reminded to follow the correct traffic path for the parking lot (use the “Panther Paws” route) and to park in appropriate parking spaces. While the increase of monitoring will take place at the start of the New Year, law enforcement will be conducting periodic checks prior to that time as well. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact the main office at (757) 220-4067.
