CES Cafe' Updates for 2022-23

Good Evening Families,

Please read below for CES Café updates:

Breakfast in the Classroom

Breakfast in the Classroom will return for the 2022-2023 school year and will begin on the 1st day of school. Daily breakfast will be available for $1.65. Students will preorder breakfast each afternoon and it will be delivered to the classroom each morning Over the past 2 years, students have grown accustomed to grabbing breakfast each morning on their way to class. If you do not wish for your child to participate in the Breakfast in the Classroom program, please email your child’s teacher. Please also communicate this expectation with your student.  We are unable to deny meal purchases without written parent permission.

My School Bucks

Breakfast and lunch will be available daily for a charge.

Breakfast: $1.65

Lunch: $2.75; snacks will also be available a la carte for an additional charge

The CES Café will accept cash, check, or payments via My School Bucks.  We encourage families to use My School Bucks to keep track of your child’s purchases. If you do not wish for your child to make purchases in the CES café, please communicate this expectation with your child as well as in writing to your child’s teacher.  As stated before, we are unable to deny purchases to a student without written parent permission.

Free/Reduced Lunch

The free meals program, funded by the USDA as a pandemic relief measure, will not exist for the 2022-23 school year. Families are encouraged to apply for free and reduced-price meals as early as possible, using the online application or a printable form at MySchoolApps.

Beginning the week of September 5th, families are invited to make a reservation to visit your student for lunch. We ask that you make your reservation at least one day in advance.  Families who are unable to access the reservation link are welcome to call the main office for assistance.

All visitors who enter the building must sign in at the front office with a driver’s license or state issued ID.

Thank you!
