    1. Where is Grafton High School located?
      • GHS is located at 403 Grafton Drive in Yorktown, VA.  We share a campus with Grafton Middle School.
    2. How many students does Grafton High School serve?
      • GHS serves approximately 1150 students.
    3. What types of classes can students take a Grafton High School?
    4. What special programs are available (IB, Honors, Governor's School, etc.)?
      • GHS students participate in off campus programs, such as, Governor's School, New Horizon's career and technical center, NJROTC, and other offerings.  https://yorkcountyschools.org/parents/specialtyPrograms/default.aspx
      • York County's International Baccalaureate program is offered at York High School.
      • York County's School of the Arts for theatre and literary arts is offered at Bruton High School. 
    5. How many classes do students take per year and what is the schedule?
      • Students at GHS take 7 classes per year on an A/B day block schedule with one class meeting every day.
    6. What time do classes start?
      • High School hours are currently 7:15-2:05.
    7. What clubs and sports are offered?
      • Our students participate in the Bay Rivers District within the Virginia High School League. 
      • Sports offerings include, football, cross-country, girls field hockey, sideline and competition cheerleading, girls volleyball, swimming, basketball, baseball, softball, indoor track and field, tennis, track and field and soccer.
      • Activities include debate, forensics, scholastic bowl, theatre competitions, SCA, Special Olympics, Key Club, Beta club, DECA, National Honor Society, various content specific honor societies, and other student clubs which vary from year to year.
