Mrs. Neubauer Mrs. Stoutenger
Welcome to the Yorktown Elementary School Counseling Spot! We are glad you are here! Please read below to learn more about us and the school counseling program at Yorktown Elementary School!
Greetings from Mrs. Neubauer:
Hello! My name is Danielle Neubauer and I am a school couselor at Yorktown Elementary School! This is my fourteenth year of being a school counselor and my fourth year at Yorktown Elementary School. I am thankful that I love coming to work everyday! I earned my bachelor of science degree from William and Mary and my master’s degree in school counseling from Shippensburg University. I am a native of Hampton and love living here in Yorktown with my family! I am looking forward to getting to know all our students and working with parents this year!
I see students individually, in small groups and for classroom school counseling lessons throughout the year. In addition, I serve as the school’s military family point of contact, bullying prevention coordinator, gifted education coordinator, ITBS and NNAT testing coordinator and Family Life Education coordinator. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me. I can be reached at the following contact information:
Greetings from Mrs. Stoutenger:
I have been working in York County Schools since 1995 when I began at York High teaching in the Social Studies Department. Once I added a Masters in Counseling from the College of William and Mary to my Bachelor Degree in History from University of Colorado, I began watching for openings in School Counseling Departments in our county. In 2008 I made the transition out of the classroom and into the counseling world. I work principally at York River Academy, the County's public charter school, and this year I am also joining the Yorktown Elementary School Counseling Team.
