Meet Your Yorktown Elementary School Counseling Team!
Welcome to the Yorktown Elementary School Counseling Department! We are glad you are here! Please read below to learn more about us and the school counseling program at Yorktown Elementary School!
This year we are excited to introduce a new face to the Yorktown Elementary School Counseling Department! Mrs. Emily Noyes will be joining us part time - on Mondays, Wednesday and alternating Fridays. Mrs. Noyes will be working primarily with first grade and third grade and will be our school's military family point of contact.
Greetings from Mrs. Neubauer:
Hello! My name is Danielle Neubauer and I am a school couselor at Yorktown Elementary School! This is my fifteenth year of being a school counselor and my fifth year at Yorktown Elementary School. I am thankful that I love coming to work everyday! I earned my bachelor of science degree from William and Mary and my master’s degree in school counseling from Shippensburg University. I am a native of Hampton and love living here in Yorktown with my family! I am looking forward to getting to know all our students and working with parents this year!
I see students individually, in small groups and for classroom school counseling lessons throughout the year. In addition, I serve as the school’s bullying prevention coordinator, gifted education coordinator, MAP and CogAt testing coordinator and Family Life Education coordinator. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me. I can be reached at the contact information listed below.
Greetings from Mrs. Noyes:
Hello Falcon Families! My name is Emily Noyes and I am the part-teim school counselor at YES. I recieved a bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of West Florida and my masters degree in Counseling and Psychology from Troy University. THis is my 4th year as a school counselor and I am so excited to be a part of the YCSD family! My family is a military family, recently transferring to York County from Florida. I am originally from Florida, but have previously lived here in York County, as well as southern California. My career holds a lot of experience in psychiatric clinical care as well as community based mental health support; however my heart has always been with school counseling and reaching children. I am so grateful to continue that work with your kiddos here at YES!
Along with Mrs. Neubauer, I see students individually, in small groups and for classroom lessons throughout the year. I also serve as the school's military family point of contact.
I am at YES on Monday, Wednesday and alternating Fridays.
