Welcome to Pre-Algebra 8!!!

We will build on the foundations of math that were introduced in Pre-Algebra 7, and help prepare students for Algebra 1. 

I've been a middle school math teacher for 12 years.  I have experience with all levels of middle school math, along with Algebra and Geometry.

  • Your child has an IXL account, which is a webiste that offers extra practice on skills we've covered in class.  If a particular skill has been assigned for homework, they are expected to work until they reach an 80%.

  • We have been working hard on square roots, the real number system, and comparing and ordering fractions, decimals, percents and scientific notation.  Our Unit 1 test is scheduled for September 24.
