I grew up wanting to be a teacher, so picking a major was an easy decision my freshman year at JMU. YCSD hired me just before I graduated in 2008, and I have been an 8th grade English teacher at Grafton Middle School ever since. I love reading, watching binge-worthy TV shows, going to the beach, and spending time with my family. My husband and I live in Gloucester (where we both grew up) with our 2 year old daughter, Lucy, and our mini goldendoodle, Dolly.
