    BEGINNING BAND Grades 6-7-8 - This course provides the opportunity for students to learn to play a brass, woodwind or percussion instrument. Students will learn how to play their specific instrument, as well as learn to read music and everything that goes along with that. Students will perform in two concerts per year - in December and May. NO EXPERIENCE IS NECESSARY!!!!!

    INTERMEDIATE BAND Grades 7-8  - This course provides the opportunity for students to continue to develop their instrumental music skills that were learned in Beginning Band. Students will learn additional notes, fingerings, scales and more difficult music. Students will perform in two concerts per year - in December and May. Students are also given the opportunity to audition for the District Honor Band.

    ADVANCED BAND Grades 7-8 - This course provides the opportunity for students to refine their instrumental music skills that were learned in Intermediate Band. Students will continue to learn expanded notes, rhythms, scales and more difficult, exciting music. Students will perform in two concerts per year - in December and May. Students are also given the opportunity to audition for the District Honor Band.
