    Course Descriptions:

    Introduction to Art: Students will explore and create different types of Art. The focus will be on the elements and principles of art, basic drawing and painting skills, as well as some basic 3D sculptural work.

    Drawing & Painting: Students will focus on using their knowledge of the elements and principles of art in building their drawing and painting skills to a higher level. They will use a variety of drawing and painting mediums such as pencil, pen, pastels, watercolor and acrylic paints. The students will also learn the appropriate techniques to use in the application of each medium on 2D surfaces.

    Sculpture & Crafts: Students will focus on using their knowledge of the elements and principles of art in building three-dimensional works of art. They will use a variety of mediums, such as clay, paper mache’, yarn, material and found objects. The students will learn the appropriate techniques to use in the application of each medium in their three-dimensional work.
