The Virginia Purple Star Designation is awarded to military-friendly schools that show a major commitment to students and families connected to our nation’s military. Yorktown Middle School has been selected to receive the 2023 Purple Star Designation.  We are one of the first schools in Virginia to receive this distinguished honor.
