- The goal of this class is to produce a quality yearbook, complete with stories, photos, captions, and some artwork. The yearbook will reflect the BHS student body as well as the hard work and dedication of the staff members.
- Students will produce the yearbook using the Jostens online program Yearbook Avenue. This program allows students to see the pages as they are designed and is easy to use. Students can also access it from home.
- Students will be required to meet all set deadlines. There will be four/five major deadlines throughout the school year. The deadlines are set by Jostens and cannot be changed. For every deadline not met, a penalty fee is charged by Jostens.
- Students are required and given a grade to sell ads in order to produce revenue for the yearbook. The revenue is used to pay for Bruton’s all-color yearbook and to buy more supplies for the class. This year each staff member is required to fundraise $500.00. Those students who raise $580.00 or more will receive a complimentary yearbook.
