6th Grade Flexible Framework Return to School Information
6th grade students that opted for the Flexible Framework at the beginning of the school year will begin in person classes following the Hybrid Model on Nov. 9th. Student with the last names A-K will attend on Mondays and Tuesdays, students with the last name L-Z will attend on Thursdays and Fridays. Wednesday will remain an asynchronous day for all students. We are looking forward to welcoming your students into the building! We will have plenty of staff on hand throughout these first few weeks to assist students with finding their way around the building.

All YCSD students are expected to perform the following daily health check before coming into the building

What to bring to school?
Book Bag (no wheels)
Materials needed for class (check with your teachers)
Lunch (free breakfast and lunch will be available to all students)
Parent Drop Off and Pick Up
Car Riders will be dropped off and picked up at the back of the complex near the basketball courts. Please turn left towards the high school when you arrive. (see videos above and photo below)
Drop Off will start at 7:45am. Students will not be allowed out of their cars before that time.
You should receive an email with the Pick Up number assigned to your student. Please write this number on a piece of paper so it will be visable as you approach the pick up area. Display that on your dashboard and your student wil be called out when you reach the pick up zone.
What's For Lunch?
All students will be able to have breakfast and lunch for free until the end of this school year. There will be 3 Hot options and 1 Cold option for lunch everyday. November Middle School Lunch Menu
Students are also able to bring their lunch. Students will be eating in their classrooms so please be aware that your student may be in a classroom with someone with a peanut allergy.
The safety of the school environment where your children spend much of their day is our top priority. We work in partnership with national, state, and local safety officials - police, fire, emergency medical services, and public health - in order to ensure our schools are well prepared for an emergency.
