The following forms are required to participate in the 2023-2024 school year sports. The VHSL sports physical MUST be dated May 1, 2023 or after for the 2023-2024 school year (These forms will expire July 1, 2024).
**These forms are required BEFORE your student is allowed to participate in any sports-related activites. This includes conditioning, tryouts, and practices.

VHSL Launches Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) Policy Digital Course
The Virginia High School League has teamed up with Bill Carter, a renowned consultant specializing in understanding the NIL and the founder of Student-Athlete Insights, to create the VHSL NIL Policy Digital Course found on the VHSL website under “About VHSL” and “Parents & Students.” This course is designed to assist students and their families comprehend the concept of Name, Image, and Likeness. It consists of eight video chapters and downloadable materials that take a total of 30 minutes to complete. Dr. John W. "Billy" Haun, Ed.D., Executive Director of VHSL, emphasizes that the VHSL’s top priority is to safeguard student-athletes. "The league is fortunate to collaborate with Bill Carter, the country's leading NIL specialist. The launch of this digital course curriculum is a valuable tool for students and parents to navigate this complex terrain," said Haun.
