During Monday’s meeting, the board received a presentation from ArcBridge Consulting regarding the five options developed to address student enrollment and available classroom space within each elementary school. Dr. Jim Carroll, chief operations officer, then shared the recommendations from the stakeholder committee charged with evaluating the consultant’s plans.

This month, our Student Art Showcase at the SBO is putting the spotlight on the incredible talent of Bethel Manor Elementary School students! From kindergarten to fifth grade, these young artists are mastering the Elements of Art and Principles of Design. Their creative journey evolves with each passing year, expanding their artistic toolbox with elements like color, shape, line, pattern, and texture.

The York County School Division is currently conducting an Instructional Materials Review (IMR) for adoption of K-5 literacy program materials. The next step in this process involves inviting interested families and community members to review the recommended instructional materials and provide feedback. The school division will offer two in-person locations for families and community members to review the student and teacher instructional materials.
