We are thrilled to have your family at QLMS and I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to Queens Lake Middle and the York County School Division.  York County serves the highest number of military connected students in the state of Virginia, so you will be in school with many other students that you share this in common with.  We take a lot of pride in the work that we do here at Queens Lake and make it a priority to ensure our students feel safe, supported, and challenged academically each day.  No matter which branch of the military your family serves, we thank you very much for your service and for protecting our freedoms.  We are honored for you to join our school and look forward to working alongside you this school year.

Please know that we are here to support you during this time of transition and recognize that it can be quite challenging.  Our faculty and staff understand the unique needs of our military students and are committed to supporting you as your family settles in to a new school community.  Let us know if there is anything we can do to ease the pressures you may be feeling to make your transition a smooth and positive one.
